There is a charming lack of road signs and road names in Barbados, and for those not familiar with driving on the island, it is strongly advised to travel by taxi from the airport.

It is situated between Holetown and Speightstown just off Highway 1 opposite Gibbes Beach.

Follow Highway 1 north from Holetown for about 3 miles. You will have passed the small fish market on the left after a sharp S-bend, and half a mile afterwards Drive-a-Matic car hire on the right. Shortly afterwards turn right about 400 yards after the sign for the parish of St Peter. There is a telegraph pole on the right hand side with a convex traffic mirror on it and a sign to The Shell Gallery. Take the first right again after about 100 yards into Ascot Avenue. The Coral House is second on the left (No. 5)
