Patio & Cocktail Bar

The area around the verandah and pool is one of the most enjoyable features of the house. It is spacious, with four distinct areas, for sitting and relaxing, for dining, for the cocktail bar, and of course for swimming and sunbathing. The covered area is served by three large ceiling fans, and is equipped with a fish/meat smoker (for the adventurous) and a gas-ignited charcoal barbecue.

The poolside and bar furniture is of contemporary and elegant French design, the dining furnture and chairs are solid teak, and the casual seating is wicker with comfortable cushions upholstered in true Barbados colour.

A particular feature is the stunning black granite bar, well-equipped and beautifully lit. It has a table and four chairs of its own, plus four bar-stools, an ideal place for champagne, cocktails, a cool beer, or a quiet game of Scrabble.

This is the ideal place for a family barbecue or for entertaining guests, an area of the house where you are likely to spend at least 75% of your waking hours. To move from there may simply be too much of an effort!
